Tsaka RSA arrested for moering patron with beer crate

Lekompo music’s enfante terrible Paul Nkgodisheng Madubanya (29), popularly known as Tsaka RSA is being accused of hitting a male patron with an empty crate of beer at a trendy nightclub in Pretoria .
According to National Prosecuting Authority Spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana, Madubanya appeared briefly in the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 20 October, where he is facing a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Mahanjana said it is alleged that on 2 August 2026, at approximately 03:00 am, Madubanya was performing at Propaganda Night Club in Pretoria Central when he assaulted a male complainant by allegedly hitting him several times with an empty bottle crate.

The alleged assault was stopped by the bouncers of the establishment, who escorted the parties outside.

It is further alleged that Madubanya continued assaulting the complainant outside until the complainant’s friends intervened.

“The complainant later reported the matter at the Pretoria Central Police Station, where police opened a criminal case,” said Mahanjana.

Following investigations by the police, she said, Madubanya was arrested on 19 October 2026 at the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court, where he was appearing in connection with a separate matter.

The case was postponed to 27 October 2026 for Madubanya to obtain legal representation and for bail investigations.
