Multi-award-winning pop king and Idibala hitmaker King Monada is no longer fainting between his two wives again!
Africa Daily can exclusively reveal that King Monada’s harem has crumbled after his second wife, Cynthia Leon, vacated their matrimonial villa at Ga-Mokgoloboto village outside Tzaneen.
The recording superstar is now happily residing with his first wife, Lerato Ramawela, who has been by his side even during difficult times.
Cynthia , who was more like the artist’s trophy wife,has gone back to her parental home in Modjadjiskloof.
She has also removed her children from their previous school around King Monada’s area and they are now schooling in Modjadjiskloof.
A deep throat close to Cynthia and King Monada alleged that the artist’s yellow bone wife moved out of their double-storey crib towards the end of last year after failing to resolve their matrimonial differences.
The mole further said that the Oskabhora Moreki crooner refused to disclose the real reasons behind the fragmentation of their union.
The tipster also said Cynthia, who is also a shrinking violet, has not shared with any of her close associates why she broke up with the talented music megastar, born Khutso Kgatla. “ She has moved out again last year,” said the source.
The informant said this was not the first time Cynthia moved out of her marital pad.
“She did move out of the house in 2020 and I think the media wrote about it, but she went back after they sorted out their differences. But then she left again and this time I think it’s for good. Monada expressed his disappointment with her in the song he released last year titled Depression,” said the source.
In the ditty, which was a national anthem in December last year, the artist talks about his lover (without mention her name), whom he says he no longer carries the torch for because she brings him depression.
In 2020, King Monada chased her out of their home after complaining that she was henpecking him.
King Monada’s relative, who did not want to be named, alleged at the time that he booted her out because he was tired of her curtain lectures.
The relative also said Cynthia disrespected King Monada’s mother and was unwelcoming towards the muso’s visiting relatives.
The next of kin also said King Monada apparently complained several times that Cynthia always screamed at and criticised him whenever he returned home late from work.
He said she didn’t understand that, by virtue of being a celebrity, King Monada is a people’s person and sometimes, or always, will return home late at night because he has to make money.
The relative also said King Monada took issue with Cynthia’s lack of hospitality towards his family when they visited.
But the last straw that broke the camel’s back was when Cynthia apparently exchanged acrimonious words with his mother.
It is alleged that the singer told her to go back to her parents’ home to be properly disciplined as she lacked respect.
She left but returned to Monada’s house later in a bakkie, took her stuff and drove off.
But she returned to the king’s castle after they reconciled their differences, only to leave again last year when they fought once more.
When contacted for comment, Cynthia asked Africa Daily to call her later, saying she was unable to speak because she was with her children.
“I’m unable to speak now because I’m with my kids, please call me after five minutes,” she said.
However, she did not answer our calls when we attempted to contact her again for comment. King Monada could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
