Watch: King Misuzulu Launches Profanity-Laced Tirade at Wife

A video clip showing Zulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini hurling abusive epithets at his wife Queen Nomzamo Myeni while an unidentified woman attempts to calm him down has surfaced

In the recording, the king also accuses Myeni of infidelity and said he wants her to vacate his palace.

The monarch, who appeared inebriated, repeatedly berates his wife, accusing her of bringing misfortune into his life, disrespecting him and leaving their home without his permission.

“Ever since she got involved, nothing has gone right. I don’t know whether it’s bad luck or if I’ve been bewitched. I’m even afraid to go into business with her,” he said.

The king further spewed a barrage of profanities against his wife and warned her not take him for granted because he did not become a king by default but because he is a wizard.

The king, who later appears holding a green beer bottle, complains that his wife goes out without informing him, saying a married woman should seek her husband’s permission before leaving the house. Throughout his tirade, an unidentified woman can be heard attempting to intervene, urging that elders should teach the queen how to conduct herself.

Responding to the woman, the king dismisses the suggestion before launching into further attacks, including claims about the Shembe church his wife attends. “ Shembe to me is a fool”, he said.

It is not clear why he says Shembe is a panjandrum.
The king further says his wife continues to go to Shembe church even though there is another man he only refers to as Masango who is allegedly pursuing her.

He says his wife goes to the church because she wants to be bonked there.
The king also complained about his wife leaving their crib and perambulating in the streets without his permission.

“ She goes out without my permission. If you’re a married woman, you ask your husband before you go out. At the very least, let your husband know where you’re going.”

The recording then escalates as the monarch repeatedly refers to his wife using derogatory language and says he no longer intends to support her financially. He also says she will suffer and demands that she leave his home.

He goes on to complain about a building project allegedly undertaken by his wife, saying a headman questioned the construction and insisting that building materials should be removed.

“I gave her money, and I’m stopping now. You’ll see how much she’s is going to suffer. I want her out of my house. She must leave.”

During the outburst, the king also claims that people on social media insult his wife and suggests that members of the royal family had previously raised concerns about her conduct.

“ The Zulus are not happy with her. I think is because she likes impressing men, talking about Kaizer Chiefs,” he claims.

He says his brothers had approached him about how his wife comports herself and that he was relieved they had noticed the same behaviour.

Towards the end of the vid, another woman, who appears to be Myeni, is heard lamenting the king’s alleged abusive behaviour.
“This is the life I live, day and night,”she says
