Popular Rehab Owner Released on Bail For Burning Down Ex-Girlfriend ‘s Vehicle

Limpopo businessman  Tsebe Philliman Moloto  has been released on a R50 000 bail by the  Polokwane Magistrates’ Court  on Tuesday 14 July 2026.

Moloto (51) , who owns Limpopo Anti-Drug Gangsterism and Crime (LADGAC) Rehabilitation Centre, was arrested by the police on Monday 13 July 2026 for malicious damage to property and arson.

This was after he set alight a drug rehab centre sign in Ladanna, Polokwaneand then proceeded  to Seshego  township where he ablaze a bakkie owned by his ex girlfriend.

In Polokwane Magistrate Court, he appeared on two counts of malicious damage to property.

 He later appeared in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court for arson.

Limpopo NPA Spokesperson Mashudu Malabi  alleged that  Moloto and the complainant were previously involved in a romantic relationship and were business partners at the LADGAC Rehabilitation Centre in Seshego. 

Following the breakdown of both their personal and business relationship, the complainant allegedly established her own rehabilitation centre.

The State alleges that, on 28 June 2026, Moloto poured a flammable substance onto a Toyota Hilux belonging to the complainant while it was parked at her parental home in Seshego Zone 3.

In a separate incident, it is further alleged that Moloto  damaged  a signage board advertising the complainant’s new rehabilitation business in Ladanna.

The matter was postponed to 22 September 2026 for further police investigations.
