The news about Adams’ passing comes hardly two weeks after the devastating news about the passing of his grandmother, Marianna Adams.

After he received the news of his grandmother’s death while with Bafana Bafana in the world cup, Adams was seen sitting alone and quiet because he was mourning the sudden passing of his beloved grandmother.

The somber moment occurred as his Bafana Bafana teammates were jubilantly singing and dancing to celebrate reaching the World Cup knockout stages. Despite his devastating personal loss, Adams showed incredible strength and professionalism by soldiering on and representing South Africa on the pitch against Czechia.
