KZN Health MEC to officially hand over fully equipped ambulances

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa: The KZN Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu will hand over of 136 brand new, fully-equipped ambulances to the KwaZulu-Natal Emergencies Medical Services (EMS) tomorrow  on the 3rd of December at eThethe Community Hall, KwaDukuza, Ward 20.
KwaZulu-Natal's EMS unit is the largest emergency medical service in the country, operating more than 300 ambulances and having more than 2500 dedicated paramedics in its employ. The unveiling of the new ambulances for this component does not come cheap but is crucial as we are approaching December holidays.
At the event, the MEC will elaborate on the significance of the handling over of these ambulances and the impact it is expecting to have in the delivery of emergency medical services in the province.
