Cape Town, South Africa: Cruise ship operator Cunard’s majestic QUEEN ELIZABETH was warmly welcomed back to the Port of Cape Town on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

Her current voyage started in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 October and she will also sail to Port Elizabeth on Friday, 22 November. The V&A Waterfront holds a port concession awarded by Transnet National Ports Authority in 2015 to operate the Cape Town passenger terminal.

All three of Cunard’s Queens have been visiting South Africa in recent years – QUEEN Elizabeth, QUEEN MARY 2 and QUEEN VICTORIA. QUEEN MARY 2 is expected to call in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Durban in late March to early April 2020.
