The screenings and Film Conference will be hosted in the Northern Cape at the Apollo Theatre in Victoria West.

The International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) is organised by Sustainable Tourism Partnership Programme (STTP) with the support of Brand South Africa and in Cooperation with the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT).

The ITFFA aims to contribute to the development of domestic and international tourism while encouraging the growth of the local film industry.

“We have created a platform for Africa to showcase itself as a Filming Destination as well as a Tourism Destination.  We have the skills, the talent, facilities and great weather to encourage international filmmakers to film their commercials and films in Africa”, Caroline Ungersbock, Festival Director of ITFFA.
“Growing the film industry, automatically grows the tourism industry as Film productions require accommodation, catering, entertainment, tours, and transport”, Caroline Ungersbock, Festival Director of ITFFA.
The ITFFA encourages short film productions that showcase South Africa as a tourist destination and exposes the continent to international filmmakers.

The festival has two competitive sections – Tourism Communications and Documentaries. Tourism Films, Travel Videos, Documentaries, TV Reports and Web doccies all qualify. We urge you to enter the competition. It is Free. Please go to the ITFFA website at https://itff.africa/ and register.
